The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities
The accommodation building at Short Road is intended to be functional by the 2nd fifty percent of this year, while the various other two spots are going to welcome healthcare specialists in 1H2025. Together, the centers are expected to accommodate 1,180 overseas health care staffs.
A joint venture between Singapore co-living operator The Assembly Place and TS Group, a provider of large-scale hotel for foreign staffs and the elderly, has become part of a contract with MOH Holdings to design, retrofit and use 3 lodging establishments for international health care employees who are unfamiliar to Singapore. The spaces are located at 1A Short Street, 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent, and 207 Circuit Road.
MOH Holdings had already released a demand for proposition in August of nin 2023 to assign an operator to retrofit vacant structures and handle hostel-type housing for all new foreign health care employees on 5 sites, including the areas at 1A Short Street, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the location of a former student hostel, while the last 2 are spots of previous colleges.
He persists: “By partnering with managers to develop integration programs, we hope to smoothen the change for our new health care employees to absorb into Singapore’s medical care system.”

The renewed centers are going to feature a co-living idea centred around community living. “We understand that many [overseas medical care workers] are leaving their home countries for the first time, so it is really important to create a reliable and pleasant atmosphere for them,” says Eugene Lim, owner and CEO of The Assembly Place.

Lim adds that the alliance between TS Group and The Assembly Place are going to make use of the previous’s extensive expertise in operating massive lodgings sites and the latter’s strength in community-building. “We eagerly anticipate developing purposeful rooms and activities to receive the medical care specialists,” he states.
